Smart Safety
K4Community Resident Check-In is automated through integrated Smart Home devices that alert staff when residents simply move about their homes.
- Responsive Environment: Unlike traditional methods that require manual input, our system uses a variety of integrated Smart Home devices that are responsive to activities like motion, temperature or light triggers, and whose adjustments can monitor resident activity discreetly.
- Elevated Comfort: Smart Home features provide senior living residents with advanced living environments that can be tailored for comfort, convenience and safety.

- Respecting Independence: Staff is alerted through the K4Community Resident Check-In system in the Team Hub App. Two check-in windows per day increases resident visibility and safety without residents being disturbed.
- Invisible Assurance: Residents enjoy their day without the hassle of remembering to check in, promoting a sense of dignity and autonomy. They no longer need to remember to pull a cord or dial the front desk.
Staff Efficiency
K4Community Resident Check-In improves community staff efficiency with automated work-flows, alerts and reporting delivered direct to their desktop or app.
- Automated Alerts: If automated Resident Check-In through a Smart Home device is not triggered, staff is alerted that a manual check-in is necessary. “Away” settings are available when residents are not at home reducing false resident alerts, saving staff time & resources.
- Mobile Accessibility: Staff can stay informed and responsive even on-the-go, ensuring continuous coverage and care. Automated reporting for staff is viewable via desktop or mobile.
